With over 200 hundred participants, including policy makers such as the new Vice Minister of Agriculture and the Alternate Minister of Environment and Energy Gianni Tsironis, the meeting highlighted the importance of agroecology (what it is, why use this term, what innovation it has) and biodiversity. Diego emphasised some available technologies for farmers, examples of tools and assessment on compaction, erosion, water management and soil organic mater management and devoted time to present the soil health assessment methodology.
