The event will take place in Brussels as an official partner event of the EU Green WeeK 2016 (Workshop). The workshop aims to foster mutual learning processes among experts, researchers, farmers, foresters and other stakeholders about the existing pest management technologies and techniques, and how to face future challenges. EMPHASIS project will present and discuss new practical solutions to predict, prevent and protect EU agricultural and forestry sectors from native and alien pest threats.
During the workshop, roundtable discussions on specific topics will be organised, providing an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss real-life scenarios related to the management of different pests and/or crops. All discussions will be moderated by leading EU experts and researchers in agricultural and forestry fields.
