The event will gather the representatives of universities and research institutes, but also food producers and distributors, with a common aim – to promote research, development, innovation and education within food science and technology.

Congress FoodTech2016 gives an opportunity for food scientists, researchers, technologists, producers and nutritionists, young scientists and students to present their results and findings, exchange information and ideas. It promotes networking and discussion about mutual cooperation, and provides a forum between academia and industry.

III International Congress “Food Technology, Quality and Safety” and XVII International Symposium “Feed Technology” will accentuate the challenges in food and feed research. The emphasis will be put on novel technologies as well as on traditional, organic and safe food products suitable for competitive and demanding European and global market. Program of this Congress will be focused on the latest progress in fundamental and applied food and feed science, research and development, innovative technology, quality and safety of raw materials, ingredients and additives, packaging and shelf life, sensory science and food and feed engineering. It will also cover the topics in the field of biotechnology and novel bioproducts as well as food waste valorisation.

The ultimate aim of the Congress is the dissemination of knowledge to the wider audience. It will accentuate the importance of food and feed science as one of the most important strategic areas in European Union and Serbia, as well.
